Diffractive optical elements (DOEs) are used in many high-tech areas - whether in medicine, automotive and photographic technology or light-sectioning. We manufacture DOEs in unique qualities from optical glasses that are used in mostly high-power lasers for industrial applications.
The use of aspheres in optical systems enables particularly compact and lightweight designs to be realised because the number of lenses used can be reduced. Precision moulded aspheres are our speciality. We manufacture customised and standard aspheres with a diameter of up to 30 mm.
Acylinders are used, for example, in lighting technology, in measuring instruments, in spectroscopy, in laser scanners or in medical technology. GD Optics produces acylinders in the millimetre range as well as in larger dimensions. Together with our customers, we develop and manufacture the appropriate cylinder optics for the respective area of application. Our innovative molding technology enables us to achieve consistent, reproducible quality for small series through to mass production.
Innovative manufacturing technologies allow us to produce high-precision micro-optics and lens arrays in large quantities for use in a wide range of products. An array can combine a wide variety of spherical lenses with a broad parameter field of lens radius, lens height and lens pitch.
LiDAR sensors are a key technology of the future for autonomous driving and automated processes. In interaction with cameras and sensors, they perceive environments, visualise obstacles, measure spatial distances and ensure greater safety and efficiency - whether in road traffic or in automated industrial environments.
