Thanks to our special processes and our own toolmaking, we have also developed a process to produce aspheres in microformat.

Highest product maturity in the smallest format

Increasing demands on high-tech components with simultaneous miniaturisation determine today's world. The areas of application for micro-optics are manifold. Whether in medical technology or telecommunications - the challenges are growing. At the same time, the optical quality in relation to the component size is becoming more and more important.

FAC lenses at competitive prices

With the customised development and production of Fast-Axis-Collimator-Lenses (FAC-Lenses), we offer solutions for every challenge. We realise FAC lenses in a very large focal length range from 0.3 mm to 10 mm. Our innovative technology makes it possible to achieve values of NA up to 0.8 and that with the highest quality. Thanks to our partially automated in-house processes, our customers benefit from competitive prices for high and medium quantities.

Aspheres in microformat - produced cost-efficiently

Whether laser collimations or fibre coupling in telecommunication systems - technical applications are becoming smaller and more complex and require ever more compact lenses. Aspherical lenses are increasingly being used here. GD Optics has developed a process with which aspheres in microformat can be manufactured particularly economically, because we have the corresponding customisable processes, such as our own toolmaking, directly in-house and can guarantee scalable production.

Individually and cost-effectively manufactured prisms

GD Optics manufactures special solutions according to individual customer requirements. These can not only be developed as individual optics, but also combined with other optical structures, for example in the form of segmented optics. In doing so, we enable individual tuning and adaptation of all relevant parameters at any time. Using state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, we produce prisms with reliable precision and in large quantities. Thanks to comprehensive control with all common measuring methods, we ensure reliable quality at all levels of the manufacturing and coating processes.
