Our aim is to develop innovative solutions that make our production processes more efficient and future-proof.<\/p>\n<p>The focus of the position is on the two federally funded projects Silicon Photonics Optical Engine for Next Generation Datacom Interconnects (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.photonikforschung.de\/projekte\/integrierte-optik\/projekt\/spore.html\">SPOrE<\/a>) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thm.de\/site\/forschung\/forschung-an-der-thm\/forschungsprofil\/forschungsprojekte\/landesfoerderung-hessen\/alqua-automatisierte-linsenfertigung-und-qualitaetssicherung.html\">ALQUA <\/a>project, which aims to automate lens production and quality assurance. Collaboration in the former project enables us to contribute to the socially highly relevant topic of energy-efficient data infrastructure, which is a prerequisite for the realization of AI applications.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Your tasks<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Improvement of the machines:<\/strong> Improvement of the presses (heating, tool holder), improvement of (manual) tool assembly.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Industrialization:<\/strong> Improving the efficiency of processes, documenting processes, transferring processes to production.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Automation:<\/strong> Set up automated parts handling at several points in the process chain.
