Global energy resources are limited. Energy production from fossil energy sources or nuclear energy generated by power plants will not offer solutions for a climate-friendly power supply in the future. In the long term, the focus will be on renewable energies.<\/p>\n

In view of climate change and its consequences for people and the environment, science and industry are focusing on new solutions for generating, storing and sensibly saving energy. Photonics offers new approaches and forward-looking solutions. Renewable energy sources such as wind turbines, hydroelectric power plants and solar energy can only fully benefit humans if energy storage systems are used that can absorb and store the fluctuating movements. Developments based on photonic principles of action are having a major impact in this respect.<\/p>\n\t\t

We develop and manufacture optical elements and components for use in concentrating photovoltaic systems in close consultation with our customers.<\/p>\n

The focus of our solar product range is on secondary optics for the uniform illumination of cells, which we realise on request in a wide variety of thicknesses, dimensions and compositions.<\/p>\n\t\t
